How do I apply a background color to my design?
Important: Before starting, make sure that nothing is selected and the background layer tab is active. The Object Properties tab of the Inspector palette should be visible. (Click the Inspector button to open the palette if it's not visible.)
1. Click the Fill color button. The Colors palette opens.
2. Select a color.
3. Drag the color swatch onto the disc surface in the edit area.
Note: A background fill color can only be solid, not a gradient. To make a gradient fill background, just add a circular shape to the background layer and apply any fill to that.
