How can I select and edit content in columns, tables, or cells?

Content in columns and tables can be selected and edited similar to any other text on your document. 

To edit text:

  1. Use the Select Text tool to select content in a table
  2. Choose Correct Text from the Toolbar. An editable text block will replace the selected text. 

From there, you can change, add, delete text, or move the text block. Beginning with PDFpen/Pro v11, you can even edit content in individual table cells, all while preserving the table’s formatting.

Tip: for greater precision when selecting columns of text to copy and paste, hold down the Option key (⌥) and click and drag to select a section.
